About access problem 26.12.2019

Dear Customers,

Because of a problem happened December 26th there has been a hitch regarding the connections of the Servers located in our Data Center. First of all, we would like to apoligise for this situation. Details regarding the problem and how it has been handled are stated below;

1 - Our Tech team has detected some ports have been marked to be have possibly gone into a loop on our Redundant device ( Switch ) that has been assigned the role of the Master Switching in our Data Center and because of this possibility, BDPU protection has automatically activated and these ports have been automatically disabled by this process around 03:45 PM (GMT +3).

Around %5 of our customer have been affected by this problem.

2 - Source of the BDPU messages has been investigated thoroughly and every port that might be the source of the problem has been checked manually by our Tech team.

3 - We have encountered BDPU related error messages on our redundant device which as been working on switching at 04:15 PM (GMT +3). In order to debug and understand these error messages we have switched the redundant device to Maintenance Mode and tried to understand the problem better. At this stage, because one of the devices went offline around %50 of our customers have been affected by this problem.

4 - We have debugged the error messages that has been analyzed from the device that has been switched to maintenance mode around 04:35 PM (GMT +3) and inputted necessary countermeasures for the problem which we have thought causes this regarding to our debugging process and activated both devices to the a state how they should behave around 04:45 PM (GMT +3)

From this on, we will take any necessary precautions so this kind of problem will not occur in the future, and inform you again.
